After achieving £4M in savings Anglian Water @one Alliance extends partnership with Resolve

Anglian Water @one Alliance has extended its partnership with Resolve through AMP8 to continue driving efficiency and safety in project delivery.

We are excited to announce that our partnership with Anglian Water @one Alliance has been extended for another five years through the next Asset Management Period (AMP8) from 2025 to 2030. This extension reaffirms both company’s shared commitment to leveraging technology to transform the way water projects are designed, reviewed, and delivered.

The impact has been significant: an estimated £4M in savings have been realized by preventing design and construction challenges early in the process of the @one alliance's water projects.

🚨 Contract Extension with Resolve VR & Meta 🚨 We’re thrilled to announce that our partnership with Resolve VR & Meta has been extended for another 5 years…

What started as a pilot program in 2021 has quickly evolved into a standard tool across the portfolio of projects. Over the course of AMP7, Resolve was deployed across 47 schemes, supporting over 120 users from 8 different companies: Anglian Water Asset Delivery, Balfour Beatty, Barhale, Binnies, Mott MacDonald Bentley (MMB), SWECO, Skanska and MWH Treatment.

“The proactive approach has allowed us to tackle challenges before they become costly problems, ultimately ensuring smoother project delivery” Sam Matts, Technical Manager at Anglian Water @one Alliance

The @one teams have leveraged VR in multiple ways to expand the ROI of their digitisation efforts:

  • Engineering design reviews
  • Safe-to-operate simulations with Operators
  • Safety training
  • Community and career outreach

From safety hazards to constructability issues to operability risks, teams have used Resolve to find things virtually and not in the field once it’s too late.

The benefits of VR have been evident across various projects, including projects like Southend on Sea and Hall Water Treatment Works, where virtual walkthroughs have enabled teams to identify potential design and construction issues early.

Looking ahead to the larger AMP8, VR is expected to become a standard tool for design and stakeholder engagement.

“It’s really exciting that VR will continue to supercharge collaboration in our engineering teams,” said Kofi Enuson, VR & Immersive Tools Analyst for Anglian Water @one Alliance.

We at Resolve are proud to be part of this journey and look forward to continuing to support Anglian Water @one Alliance as they drive efficiencies, enhance collaboration, and set new benchmarks for water infrastructure innovation.
